The CGR which stands for Certified Graduate Remodeler is a designation achieved from the National Association of Homebuilders NAHB). NAHB is the largest homebuilding organization in the world. To get the CGR you must pass a test of building as well as business knowledge and have been in business for a number of years. What that means for the customer is you have a real professional in remodeling. The CR represents Certified Remodeler from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry which is another large national organization that tests qualifed remodelers for their skill and knowledge in remodeling and business. Very few remodelers take and pass these certifications.
